Hello there! My name is Cynthia and I am based in Gilbert, Arizona. I am the maker of UrthBeauty. I started UrthBeauty as a creative outlet, focused mainly around my obsession with soap making. Before I even imagined making my own soap, I found pure joy smelling all the natural soap bars at my local grocery store. Once I got the hang of soap making, my obsession spiraled into formulating other wonderful things like natural deodorants, lip balms, lotions, etc. I love working with flowers, botanical extracts, and fair-trade butters from around the world! Since I started UrthBeauty, I've always envisioned my products and process being completely plastic-free, non-toxic, and eco-friendly. I use sustainable & biodegradable materials - like water-activated kraft tape to seal each package and biodegradable corn starch peanuts that are so environmentally gentle, they dissolve in water leaving zero toxic waste behind.
